Neighbours telling their own stories, one patch at a time.
Muskoka Folk is a podcast and a set of written stories from people who live here. We sit down with a neighbour, put the kettle on and let them talk. Each conversation becomes an episode, a written story and one new felt patch on the quilt.

The quilt so far
Every Muskoka Folk guest gets a felt patch, and each one is stitched on around the edge, clockwise from the top left. Tap a patch to hear that neighbour's episode and read their story.
- Around the edge: one patch for each guest, numbered in order
- In the middle: the nine patches we started with
- Dashed squares: neighbours still to come
Know a neighbour with a story?
The best Muskoka Folk guests are often the ones who'd never put themselves forward: the person everyone at the counter goes quiet for. Tell us who they are and how to reach them. We'll do the asking, and there's no pressure on anyone.

How Muskoka Folk works
Listen
Hear neighbours tell their own stories, in their own words, at their own pace. Every episode comes with a written version too.
Record
We come to a guest's kitchen table or dock with a microphone. They talk, we listen. No script, and nothing goes out until they're happy with it.
Share
The episode, the written story and a new felt patch go up here on Muskoka Pulse. Pass it along to anyone who'd enjoy it.
Guest names, episode titles, places, photos and story text on this page are examples until episodes are recorded.
